DAY1_OBJECT 05_WOOL JUMPER:

In usual, extension of function makes things better. As a designer or maker, people would like to handle and carry their tool all the time since anywhere and anytime they design something. Attaching the pockets that are different sizes, this plain wool jumper does not only have function of clothing, but also carry things with you.

DAY2_OBJECT 12_STYROFOAM:

Former person made the container out of packaging protection foam by bent metal wire in order to hold the position-shape-. Thanks to the advantage of foam that are shock-resistance and tension. it could be a good holder and housing of the lamp. In addition, attached different type of low density foam sheet makes a light effect and protection for the bulb.

DAY3_OBJECT 7_ MAKE UP BOX:

This black smooth and glossy make up box functions as the good container. Due to its designed uses for indoor, I would like to change people's insight from static object to carrying object or bag. Nice yellow cow leather handle expresses the contrast of material and colour.

DAY4_OBJECT 6_ ALUMINIUM STOOL:

For almost of people, spun aluminium could attract people because of its purity of material.

But, for some people it could seem to be boring. Colour is one of the crucial aspect in design. Gold colour sprayed spun aluminium amplify the beauty of object and prevent from oxidation.

DAY5_OBJECT 3_LEATHER CARD HOLDER:

When I've received this item, from my opinion, it is fully improved to give a gift to someone. From the superstitious belief, when person present the wallet as gift for the others, they used to put the note inside of wallet-gift- since they believe that behaviour could call the financial luck for people who received. Similar to this context, 5 pounds note can make next person happy and also refer them to improve it with the note.

DAY6_OBJECT 5_ LIGHT:

As finished product, it requires many of components for actual uses. The pendent lamp was quite nice way to deliver the light effect with the mesh paper, but I chose to modify the foam factor from un-finished pendent light without ceiling fixture to finished table lamp. The tripod stand can transform for using in different environment -table lamp or floor lamp-. And as a design feature, copper bulb holder finishing makes it better quality.

DAY7_OBJECT 2_BRASS TRIM:

With the toilet paper holder, now it is quite useful object in your toilet. However, from different aspect, fundamental function as a roll paper holder, it could have opportunities to be totally different object. The grip is the fascinating object which could add the function to many of objects. According to this extended functionality, we can draw some painting and show random image on your canvas.

DAY8_OBJECT 8_STONEWARE JUG:

Previous experiments turned it into the object which mimic the shape of its original shape-stone ware jug-. With solid mass of plaster, it could be anything you want to do like empty space. By making a proper diameter and depth of hole, this sculpture can has purpose and function as a candle holder on your table.

DAY9_OBJECT 10_METRE RULER:

Two pieces of small wood has the grooves to stick together. After play with this wooden pieces, I arranged it into the stand base of the mirror. As being an element of object, 2 pieces of wood which is considered as useless stuff, it can has a value.

DAY10_OBJECT 4_TAPE MEASURE:

Original tape measure was turned to the pieces of chair dimension. From this object-with box- I understood the intention of previous people who marked the dimension. For raising the  value, I designed the standard chair including attached MDF sheet and dimension pieces and brushed the black board paint therefore people can draw their own chair onto it. This is because, when we need to make and refine an object, it would be better to see and touch the physical full scale model than sketch and imagine.

DAY11_OBJECT 11_ BRASS WINDOW OPENER:

Brass Window opener revived as optical illusion tool since it basically has a simple function of rotating. However, we needed to use it by two hands thus it is quite difficult to make psychedelic effect efficiently. I made the object that consists of holder and base so it is allowed to be more stabilized than original one.

DAY12_OBJECT 1_DYSON VACUUM CLEANER:

This final object is progressed through 11 days and finally it is turned to totally different object but with same functionality. This sweep and dustpan already look so beautiful and almost refined so I would not attach distractive things according to the principal I believe  “Less is More”. Only thing I provide is to put the rubber band in order to prevent loosing or dropping the sweep from the dustpan.
